Spain

Biography

I was born in 1962, graduated in Fundamental Physics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Ph. D. in Particle Physics in 1992, working at DELPHI at LEP, with extended stays at CERN. After a three years post-doc in Laboratoire de lÁccelerateur Lineaire of Orsay, close to Paris, I moved to Astroparticle Physics. Since then, I have worked in Cherenkov observatories: HEGRA, MAGIC, and now CTA.
Since 1998 I teach at Universidad Complutense o Madrid, the largest University in Spain. Presently I am part of the department of Structure of Matter, Thermal Physics, and Electronics and work in the CTA group there. I am interested in data analysis and experimental techniques in Astroparticle Physics, AGNs, and compact objects.
