Biography

I was born in Malatya city of Turkey in 1976. I graduated in 1998 from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Firat University in Elazığ city of Türkiye. I completed my PhD thesis entitled "Investigation of Seasonal Changes in Serum Testosterone Levels and Spermatogenesis in Akkaraman Rams" in Department of Reproduction and Artificial Insemination in the same Faculty in year of 2004. I was appointed to staffs of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in years of 2007 and 2008, respectively. I was appointed to staff of full Professor in year of 2014. I have made a total of 189 scientific studies published in international (83) and national (19) journals and book chapters (9), and also 78 conference proceedings so far. The majority of my studies are related to the effects of natural and chemical antioxidants on male reproduction in laboratory animals. My study field includes semen evaluation, processing and handling, cryobiology of sperm, evaluation of testicular apoptotic cells and sperm DNA damages, reproductive hormones, spermatogenesis in domestic and lab animals.
