Biography
Andres Santos is a professor and the director of the Biomedical Image Technologies group (BIT-UPM) in Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (Spain). In 1987-88 he was an International Research Fellow at SRI International (Menlo Park, CA - USA). His main research areas are biomedical image analysis and acquisition. He has been coordinator of more than 50 national and international research projects and technology transfer contracts with private companies. He has been codirector of a master's program on biomedical technology and instrumentation.
