Biography

My research broadly focuses on public health, epidemiology and Biostatistics. More specifically, I conduct research in geriatric medicine, anxiety and depression, biological ageing, infectious disease, occupational health and application of systematic review and meta-analysis in health epidemiology and biostatistics. As my current research activities, I am working on the elderly frailty and biological ageing. I developed a revised frailty index based on Bangladeshi socio-demographic context. At larger scales, I am interested in the practices that allow us to search, navigate, and signify my position in the world around us. The last phase of this work is now concentrating on the establishment of biological aging of Bangladeshi older adults applying quantitative biostatistical approach. My work has also concentrated on the systematic review with meta-analysis in health epidemiology. Along with this, I am interested in the theory of health meta-analysis.
