Biography

Antonio J. Rueda is an Associated Professor at the Departamento de Informática (Software and Computer Engineering) in the University of Jaén. He has a B.Sc. in Computer Science by the University of Granada and a Ph.D. in Computer Science by the University of Málaga. His main interests are in Computer Graphics in general, including topics like efficient implementation of geometric algorithms, processing of 3D laser scanned data or analysis and generation of stereoscopic images. He has also actively worked on GPU computing, with a special focus on Earth sciences. He presented more than 30 papers and communications in journals and conferences and is a regular reviewer of high impact international journals like IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, Computer-Aided Design or Computers & Geosciences. Finally he has also led several R&D projects with major Spanish companies like Sacyr S.L. or Kandor Graphics S. L.
