Biography

Mr Dev is a researcher and academic with a cumulative professional experience of 8 years working at The University of Queensland (UQ), Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), FAO Bangladesh and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), Bangladesh. Research experience includes understanding decision-making processes, stakeholder participation, communication, power dynamics and policy analysis in agri-food systems, energy transition, and climate change adaptation. Attainment of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) fellowship and Carbon Literacy Certificate are significant achievements.
Key competencies include but are not limited to, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, scientific and technical report writing and presentation, project management, stakeholder mapping, conducting training and workshops, and the skilful application of participatory communication methodologies in research and academia.
A highly motivated, goal-oriented and adaptable team player achieves results by working effectively in collaboration with inclusive teams by outlining objectives, setting targets, proper time management, effective organisational communication and ethical implication of risk management, personal integrity and research.
