Biography

Alexander O. Terent’ev was born in Moscow, in 1973. He received M.S. in Chemistry of Biologically Active Compounds from D. Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, Moscow (1996). From 1996 to 1997 he was a leading researcher on polymer manufactory. He received PhD degree (2000) and D.Sc. degree (2009) in Organic Chemistry in N.D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry RAS.
2011 - Professor of D. Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology of Russia.
2016 - Professor of RAS.
2016 - Corresponding Member of RAS.

At this time, A. Terent’ev is
- Chief of Laboratory in Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences,
- Director of Higher Chemical College RAS,
- Professor of Faculty of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technology and Biomedical Products, D. I. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology.

His interests are organic chemistry, medical chemistry, agrochemistry, chemical technology, manufacture of biologically active compounds, and composite materials. He published 5 chapters in books, 210 research papers, and 35 patents.
