Biography

Julie Goldman, BS, MLIS, is the Countway Research Data Services Librarian with the Harvard Library. Julie collaborates with members of the Harvard Library community on delivering data services across all stages of the data lifecycle. At Countway Library, she works closely with an extensive network of professionals invested in data management and open science to develop and deliver services for students and researchers around the Longwood Medical Campus. Julie promotes open science, reproducible workflows, and is interested in broadening scientific communication.

Julie is an ambassador for the Open Science Framework, protocols.io, and Library Carpentry. She is also the Managing Editor for the Journal of e-Science Librarianship (https://publishing.escholarship.umassmed.edu/jeslib/).

Julie is a New England native and earned her Masters in Library and Information Science from Simmons College and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of New Hampshire.
