Psicóloga, Especialista en trastornos cognitivos y del aprendizaje, Doctora en psicología con Orientación en neurociencia cognitiva aplicada, y formación Posdoctoral en Psicología económica y del consumo. Ganadora de la versión 2020 del programa Para las Mujeres en la ciencia de Loreal avalado por la Unesco y Minciencias. Actualmente se desempeña como docente tiempo e investigadora de la Universidad Autónoma del caribe, es líder del grupo de investigación cerebro, cognición y procesos sociales y se encuentra Categorizada por Minciencias como investigador Senior según la última medición.
