Biography
Dr. Adrián Matencio Durán (Murcia, Spain 1992) was graduated in Biotechnology by the University of Murcia where he obtained his PhD in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology in 2020, being now PostDoc in the Department of Chemistry of the University of Turin. Their works have been focused on developing and studying novel applications for the molecular encapsulation of cyclodextrins (CDs, a natural drug carrier derived from starch) and the use of bioactive compounds such as stilbenes, fatty acids or betalains.
