Biography

I am Greek and I studied Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I did my PhD within the Impact Group of the University of Kent in the UK. My research interests are on planetary science and space missions; laboratory hypervelocity impact experiments with focus on their applications on small bodies; study of new space materials; study of the surface contamination of objects after impact events; investigation of the fragmentation and light generation during impacts; observations and analysis of lunar impact flashes; study of the physical properties of asteroids and meteoroids, in particular their composition from spectroscopy and masses; photometry of asteroid from telescopic observations.
