Biography

I’m a Professor in the School of Metallurgy and Environment at Central South University, China. I received my Ph.D. degree in Nonferrous Metallurgy, MS degree in Metallurgy Physical Chemistry, and BS degree in Metallurgy Physical Chemistry from Northeastern University in 2005, 2003, and 2000, respectively. I was a visiting scholar at Michigan Technological University in 2014. I hold 15 Chinese patents and have published 50 peer-reviewed journal papers. I’m a member of TMS and Academic Editor of Archives of Current Research International. My research interests are focused on the areas of extract metallurgical, comprehensive utilization of secondary resources, similar elements separation and treatment and recycling of waste water containing fluorine and chlorine. I have completed more than 30 government and industrial sponsored research projects. Several production lines for extracting molybdenum and nickel from nickel-molybdenum bearing waste and several production lines for extracting molybdenum, nickel and vanadium from spent HDS or FCC catalyst were designed.
