Biography

I have passion for science since high school, and now specialized in reproductive biotechnology, particularly for avian and entomocol species. My work focuses on the cryopreservation of spermatozoa and primordial germ cells (PGCs), in order to restore avian lineages and preserve threatened species. We are studying how PGCs can be used to restore poultry breeds (in vitro culture, qPCR, western blot, genotyping). I am also involved in the study of early embryonic development: my team is trying to understand the changes in the zygote between egg storage and the start of incubation in order to define the embryo stages under real conditions.
