Biography
Professor Bernhard is involved in international training and had collaborations with multiple institutes, including Hospital San Pau in Barcelona, Spain, The Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh, USA and The Norris Cancer Center – Institute of Urology in Los Angeles, USA. He is also affiliated with the Research Unit BRIC-U1312 of the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM).
He is the coordinator of the National databank and French research network on Kidney Cancer UroCCR (www.uroccr.fr), certified by the French National Institute of Cancer (INCa), a board-member of the Cancer Committee of the French Association of Urology (CCAFU), a member of the scientific group of the European Robotic Urology Section of the EAU (ERUS) and an associate member of the EAU Section of Oncological Urology (ESOU).
His research areas of interest include conservative robotic kidney cancer surgery, virtual navigation, 3D pre-operative models for surgical planning and simulation, AI, Telehealth and biomarkers.
