Biography
Anwer S. Abd El-Hameed received Ph.D. from Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, Egypt in May 2018. The B.Sc. and M. Sc. Degrees were received from Al-Azhar University and Cairo University, Egypt in 2009, and 2014, respectively all in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He has worked at Microstrip Circuits Department, Electronics Research Institute, Giza, Egypt since 2010 (On leave now). He jointed Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan as a special research student as a part of his Ph.D. program in June 2017. He has a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Northeast Asian Studies, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan since Jan. 2019. His research interests include planar antennas, on-chip antennas, mm-wave circuits, WPT, metamaterials, microwave imaging, and archeological survey based on electromagnetic waves. Another research interest focuses on developing radar systems for cultural heritage preservation and ground surface disaster prevention.
