Biography

Alexander Golberg,Ph.D: is a Senior faculty at Tel Aviv University, Israel and a co-founder of Elsy Medical and Genesea Advanced Technologies. From 2025 he is a President Faculty Visiting member at Rutgers University, NJ. He received his B.Sc from Technion-IIT,Haifa and completed Ph.D work at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Bioengineering) under the direction of Boris Rubinsky. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Martin L. Yarmush lab at the Center for Engineering in Medicine in Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. His research interests are in devices and process development for biological applications. His most recent works involved electroporation for molecular extraction from tissues for diagnostics- ebiopsy. He also works on seaweed offshore cultivation and processing to food. In addition he works on making healthcare systems more sustainable working on hospital waste hydrothermal liquifaction.
