Biography
As a clinical head nurse at the Department of Nursing, Pingtung Christian Hospital, and a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Nursing, Kaohsiung Medical University, I have dedicated my academic and professional journey to exploring the nuanced, human-centered dimensions of end-of-life care through qualitative inquiry. My clinical path began in oncology and palliative care, where I developed a deep commitment to end-of-life care through years of frontline experience. My research focuses on palliative care, bereavement support, and the cultivation of resilience through mindfulness, particularly among healthcare professionals working in high-stress clinical environments. To date, I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles, including several in SCI-indexed journals. I remain actively engaged in qualitative research that deepens our understanding of clinical practice and informs the development of evidence-based, humanistic care. I specialize in qualitative methodologies such as grounded theory, phenomenology, and meta-ethnography. These approaches enable me to translate complex clinical experiences into meaningful insights that support both practice and education.
I aspire to continue bridging the gap between nursing humanities and evidence-based practice by preparing the next generation of nurses to deliver reflective, culturally sensitive care. My long-term goal is to contribute to the advancement of qualitative research methodology in Taiwanese nursing education and to become a leading scholar in humanistic nursing research.
