Biography
I am with the Advanced Interactive Technologies lab (AIT) at ETH Zurich. My current research focuses on how to generate and interact with Digital Avatars. We are setting up a new volumetric video lab to push research in Computer Vision, Human-Computer Interaction, and much more. I'm also passionate about haptics and wearable interactions, tackling them through multi‐physics modeling and experimental validation.
I completed my M.Sc. and Ph.D. in physics at Instituto Balseiro, Bariloche, Argentina. Back then I worked on microfabrication and infrared sensing technologies at the Low-Temperature Lab, CAB. In 2014, I joined as a postdoc the Soft Transducers Lab (LMTS) at EPFL, Switzerland, to work on haptic displays based on miniaturized electromagnetic actuators. In 2018 I moved to the AIT Lab, where I continue to work today.
