Dr. Diego A. Forero, MD, PhD is Professor and Research Leader at the School of Health and Sport Sciences, Fundación Universitaria del Área Andina (Bogotá, Colombia). He is a Medical Doctor and PhD in Biomedical Sciences. He has authored 133 international scientific publications (articles and book chapters), with a cumulative impact factor of 380.9 and an h index of 38. Dr. Forero is Senior Editorial Member of BMC Research Notes, Academic Editor of PLOS One, Associate Editor of the American Journal of Medical Genetics B, peer reviewer for 144 international publications and for 35 scientific institutions.
