Biography
I am Associate Professor of Economics and Director of the Centre for Business Management, Entrepreneurship and General Education at the Botswana International University of Science and Technology. I earned my MSc. Agricultural Economics in 1996 and PhD in Natural Resource Development in 2003 from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan, USA. I have also completed the Oxford Executive Strategic Management Programme with the Saiid Business School at the University of Oxford in the UK. I have extensive teaching, research, administrative, leadership and management experience having worked as an academic for more than 30 years. I have also worked as a consultant for UNDP, UNEP, World Bank and FAO to name a few. My research interests cover microeconomics, game theory and strategic interaction, women economic empowerment, social entrepreneurship, renewable energy and gender in STEM education, research and leadership.
