Biography

I am a highly-skilled Environmental Analytical Chemistry researcher with a passion for problem-solving aiming to make a positive impact on human health and the environment.

I have managed numerous research projects simultaneously resulting in 5 lead-author publications.

I am an effective communicator of research findings and have given 9 presentations at local and international conferences.

I have developed strong interpersonal skills by facilitating laboratory experiment sessions for undergraduate students, project co-supervising an honours student and running workshops aimed at teaching young women effective tools of money management.

I have had the opportunity to work as a library assistant and a tutor by assisting undergraduate students to understand chemistry concepts in a way that adds value to their knowledge.

In my free time, I love to gym, go hiking, meditate and read self-improvement books.

I enjoy knowledge gap identification, critical thinking & problem solving and am seeking opportunities to combine my passion for research & creativity with my experience in environmental chemistry research and nanotoxicology to solve problems impacting the world in a positive way.
