Biography

Dr. Mubasher Jamil completed PhD in 2010 and joined National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan as a faculty member. He spent one year at the Eurasian National University, Kazakhstan as a Visiting Professor during 2012-13. In 2016, he was promoted to tenured Associate Professor and later joined Zhejiang University of Technology, China in 2019 as a Research Professor until Jan 2022. He is currently a Tenured Professor at NUST. His research interests lie in the area of black hole physics. Among his awards are TWAS Prize for basic sciences (2016); IOP Award for Outstanding Reviewer (2019); and Alumni of 66th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting.
