Biography
Doctor in Language Teaching, with an emphasis on Linguistic Studies, working within the research line of Language Teaching and Learning in the Graduate Program in Letters at the State University of Maringá. Holds a Master's degree from the Graduate Program in Language, Identity, and Subjectivity at the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG). Graduated in Portuguese Language and Literature from the State University of Central-West (2005). She is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Portuguese Language at the Federal University of Sergipe and in the Professional Master's Program in Language Teaching at the same university. She is a member of the ANPOLL (National Association of Graduate Studies in Letters and Linguistics) Research Group on Transculturality, Language, and Education and an associate of ALAB (Brazilian Association of Applied Linguistics). She is also a member of the Executive Board of the Brazilian Association of Applied Linguistics Publishing House (EDALAB), serving as Administrative and Financial Coordinator (June 2024 – June 2027). She participates in the research groups Diálogos Interculturais e Linguísticos (DInterLin/UFS) and Letramento, Etnografia, Interação, Aprendizagem e Multilinguismo (LEIAM/UEM). Her research experience lies in the field of Linguistics, with an emphasis on Applied Linguistics, focusing mainly on the following topics: Language and Interaction; Literacy Studies; and Teacher Education for Native Language Instruction.
