Biography

Mr. Hikmatullah Obaid completed his B.Sc. degree (in Agronomy) in 2012 from Kandahar University, Kandahar, Afghanistan. He received his B.Sc. degree (in Agronomy) in 2016 from Afghanistan's National Agricultural Sciences and Technology University and the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India collaboration program. He obtained his Ph. D. degree in Soil Science and plant nutrition from the College of Resources and Environment, Southwest University, Chongqing, Beibei, 400715, China. 
Obaid started his professional career in 2013 as a lecturer at the Afghanistan National Agricultural Sciences and Technology University (ANASTU), Kandahar, Afghanistan. Further, Hikmatullah Obaid guided some B.Sc. and M.Sc. students for the award of their respective degrees, and he has been associated with various extension and research activities during his service period. He has also published around 20 research papers and articles in reputed journals. He has been a member/convenor of some professional societies, academic and research committees at the university. He possessed adequate administrative experience, including as an officiating principal of the faculty.
