Biography
I received the bachelor's degree in Medical Physics, and the titles of Master and Doctor of Science in Physics Applied to Medicine and Biology by the University of São Paulo. During undergraduate and graduate studies I worked with transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and neuronavigation, including the development of the InVesalius Navigator software, electrophysiological data analysis, magnetic resonance imaging, TMS applications in human motor cortex, TMS coil design, and 3D models for surgical planning. I currently work as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering (NBE) at Aalto University, Finland, developing multichannel coils for TMS, and with TMS applications in humans.
