Biography
Murakami is the Scientific Director of the Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory (LNBR) and leads a research group formed by a multidisciplinary team focused on understanding fundamental questions about enzymes including origin, evolution, molecular mechanisms, neofunctionalization and rational redesign.
