Biography

Fahd Darasi is a PhD student in Marine Biology at the Department of Biology, University Abdelmalek Essadi, Tetouan, Morocco. He has been working as a Researcher at Marine Science and Biological Research authority, Hudaydah, Yemen, from 2002 till now. He had his master degree in engineering ecology and management of biodiversity in 2014 in the same faculty, and Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Sciences & Environment (Marine Biology & Fisheries) from Hodeidah University Yemen. He attended many national and international traineeships and conferences on the marine environment and marine biology. He has experience in many fields such as marine surveys, worked in Project Europe Aid 126327/c/ SER/YE “Technic Assistance in project management and fisheries system in Yemen” (Indemar - International Indemar Fisheries S.L. and works for many years as a research assistant on research boats in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
