Biography

Robina Begum is lecturer in chemistry at Centre for Undergraduate Studies, University of the Punjab since 2013.She did M.Sc in chemistry in 2007 and M.Phil in Organic Chemistry in 2011 from Institute of Chemistry, University of the Punjab, Lahore. Currently, she is also a PhD Scholar at Institute of Chemistry, University of the Punjab, Lahore. Her research area is organic-inorganic hybrid materials for various applications. She is interested in exploring polymer based catalytic systems for various reactions. She has published more than 40 research/review articles in journals of international repute with cumulative impact factor of 98.241. She has received performance evaluation award and Incentive award on her publications from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She has successfully completed three research projects funded by home institution. She has presented her work in international conferences as oral and poster presenter in various countries like Turkey, The Netherlands, Spain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Portugal and Pakistan. She is member of The Chemical Society of Pakistan and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
