Biography
Nicolas Robinson-Garcia is a researcher in the field of bibliometrics and research evaluation. He works as a Ramón y Cajal fellow at the Information and Media department at the University of Granada (Spain). He is the scientific director of the Unit for Computational Humanities and Social Sciences (U-CHASS) and head of the EC3 Research Group (Quantitative Studies on Scientific Communication).
He previously worked at Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics, TU Delft (Netherlands), the School of Public Policy at Georgia Institute of Technology (United States) and at INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) in Spain. He is member of the Steering Committee of the European Summer School for Scientometrics and Associate Editor of the journal Scientometrics as well as member of the Editorial Board of Quantitative Science Studies and Research Evaluation. He has published over 60 articles and book chapters in the field of bibliometrics and research evaluation, including in elite journals like Nature, Science, eLife or Plos One.
