Biography

László Várallyai is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Applied Informatics and Logistics of the University of Debrecen, Hungary. He received his PhD in Plant Production and Horticultural Sciences from the University of Debrecen and a Habilitation degree in Business and Management Sciences from the University of Debrecen, Hungary. His research interests are e-learning and web technologies utilization in agricultural management. Specifically, his research focuses on the following areas: e-learning and usability in education, skills connected directly to sustainable development goals. He started to work on IoT devices and the related concept of big data, as it is becoming increasingly widespread, especially in agriculture and everyday life. He is the President of the Hungarian Association of Agricultural Informatics. He is the author or co-author of more than 170 publications.
