Biography

Bakhtiar Affendi Bin Rosdi received his B.Eng, M.Eng, and D.Eng degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan in 1999, 2004, and 2007, respectively.
He is currently a senior lecturer of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Prior to joining the university, he worked as an engineer at Showa Denko (M) Sdn. Bhd. for almost four years.
His research interest is the application of Pattern recognition in Biometrics and Bioinformatics applications.
He has served as a reviewer to a few international conferences and journals including Sensors, Information Sciences and Image and Vision Computing.
