Biography

Hui Hu received his Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, in 2001. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at ICTP (Trieste) and SNS (Pisa) from 2001-2004 in Italy and was a Chair Professor (of AMO physics) at Renmin University of China from 2006-2009. He was a Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) Fellow of the Australian Research Council (ARC) from 2009-2013. He is presently an ARC Future Fellow (Associate Professor) at Swinburne University of Technology. His recent research interests focus on ultracold atoms and molecules, and the theory of quantum fluids.
