Biography

Amine Haouas is Professor of Economics at Ibn Khaldoun University of Tiaret - Algeria,where he specializes in teaching economic growth and development. He received his BS in Economics from Ibn Khadoun University and his master in Quantitative economics from Ibn Badis University and his PhD in Economics from the University of Tlemcen. He has authored dozens of scholarly articles and working papers and four books (in Arabic):Trade Openness and Economic Growth : Evidence from China (2017), Introduction to Economic Growth (2018), Contemporary Theories of Development (2022) and Models of Economic Growth (2021). His research is primarily on economic growth, development, industrial policy, institutional quality, international trade and technological progress.
