Dr. Santiago Mengual Andrés is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Comparative Education and History of Education Department of the School of Philosophy and Education, University of Valencia, Spain. He has a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and a Ph.D. from the University of Alicante, Spain. He was the academic secretary of the Valencian Community delegation of AIDIPE (Interuniversity Association for Educational Research). He is a consultant of the Master in E-Learning (UOC). Since 2003 he has taught several graduate national and international courses. He has also participated as a teacher, coordinator or director in over 30 seminars, workshops and training courses in Educational Technology and Research Methods in Education.
His research areas are mainly focused on the role of ICT in Education with more than 95 contributions (articles, book chapters, books, proceedings, etc.). He is currently the Executive Editor of the Journal of New Approaches in Educational Research and reviewer of several scientific journals indexed in JCR and Scopus. In the past 10 years he has served as a Research Fellow in 25 R & D projects financed by public funds and 3 contracts of public-private research, all closely related to Educational Technology
