Biography

Amit Kumar is a Post-Doc researcher at Teagasc Food Research Centre Moorepark, Ireland. He has obtained his PhD and M.Tech in Food Process Engineering from Agricultural and Food Engineering Department of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. He received University Gold Medal for the highest academic record during his graduation. His research area includes development of novel starchy foods, protein modification, protein starch interaction modelling, irradiation technology. He has very keen interest in researches toward fulfilling the objectives of social service.
