Biography

Dr Varaprasad Kokkarachedu is working as an Associate Professor in the Facultad de Ingeniería, Arquitectura y Diseño, Universidad San Sebastián, Chile. He obtained PhD from the Department of Polymer Science and Technology, Inda. He published many research articles, patents, books, book chapters and reviews in several grants and publications with good impact factors in reputed journals. He edited special issues for Journals and was a member of several Societies. He received several ANID research grants. He guided several students in the nano-bio materials field. Dr. Prasad has expertise in nano, polymer, and bio-related technology to develop bioactive hybrid nanomaterials (hydrogels, films, nanomaterials) for Wound dressing, Cancer, Water purification and other clinical applications. His name has been listed in the Top 2% of scientists in a recent survey conducted by Stanford University. His objective is to translate primary nano and polymer technology research results for the next generation of biomedical applications.
