Biography

Dr. Konstantinos Tsintotas received his bachelor's degree in 2010 from the department of Automation at the Technological Educational Institute of Chalcis (now National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), Psachna, Greece, and his master's degree in Mechatronics in 2015 from the department of Electrical Engineering at the Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia (now University of Western Macedonia), Kila Kozanis, Greece. He subsequently joined the Robotics and Automation Laboratory of the Production and Management Engineering department at the Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece, where he was awarded his doctoral degree in 2021. During his studies, he obtained the Certificate of Pedagogical and Teaching Competence in 2016 from the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education, and in 2017, he was certified as an adult educator by the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance. From 2021 to 2024, he continued as a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Production and Management Engineering, focusing on applying machine learning algorithms to advanced mechatronic systems. At the same time, he served as an adjunct lecturer at the International Hellenic University's departments of Supply Chain Management (2022) and Computer, Informatics & Telecommunications Engineering (2024). Projects funded by the European Commission and the Greek Government supported his research activities.
In 2024, he was elected and continues to serve as an Assistant Professor in the Information and Electronic Engineering department at the International Hellenic University, based at the Alexander Campus in Thessaloniki.
