Biography

01/14- today : Post doc Research Fellow at POLITECNICO DI TORINO, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
Research on Aerospace Engineering, working on the design and development of guidance navigation and control strategies for space mission of rendez-vous and docking with no cooperative target. I am also working on the Avionics design and development for the on-orbit test on the International Space Station (scheduled for February 2016) of small heat pipes with low-toxicity fluids.
01/11– 12/13 PhD Candidate at POLITECNICO DI TORINO, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
Research on Aerospace Engineering, working on the definition of methodologies for the design and verification of Guidance Navigation and Control System for space applications. During this period, I worked as System Engineer within the Cubesat Team at Politecnico di Torino. I was in charge of the system design, development, functional and qualification verifications of the e-st@r Cubesats family. Moreover, I was responsible for the on orbit operation of e-st@r-I Cubesat, that reached the orbit in 2012.
