Biography

I am an ecologist with a wide range of interests from environmental science and management to conservation biology. At present my work focuses mainly on urban trees, their ecosystem services, and citizen science approaches to mapping and assessment. My previous work has been in western Europe and a variety of tropical regions and included studies on species ecology and wildlife monitoring at landscape scales.
I am currently a senior lecturer in Ecology at the Open University.
