Biography

Jun Song was born in Inner Mongolia, in Aug. 1978. He received the B.Eng. degree in information engineering from Zhejiang University, Zhejiang, China, in 2001. He was the recipient of two Ph.D. degrees. The first was achieved in 2006 in optical engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, and his second in 2008 in electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.
Now, he has been a Professor with Institute of Optoelectronics, Shenzhen University, China. He has authored/co-authored about 100 papers in refereed international journals. His research interests include nanophotonics and its applications in renewable energy, biomedicine, electronic information and environmental protection.
