Abolfazl Jalilvand, hybrid control systems, Petri nets, intelligent control

Biography

Abolfazl Jalilvand was born in Takestan, Iran in 1972. He received B.Sc. from Shahid Beheshti University, in 1995; then M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from , University of Tabriz, in 1998 and 2005, respectively, all in Electrical Engineering . At 2005 he joined the University of Zanjan, as an Assistant Professor where he was head of Department from 2008 to 2010. He was Dean of Faculty from 2010 to 2012, Associate Professor from 2011 to 2016 and vice president of research from 2015 to 2019. He has been a Professor at the same university since 2016. He has more than 170 papers in journals and conferences. His main research interests include the hybrid control systems, Petri nets, intelligent control, renewable energies, control and stabilization of power systems, application of intelligent methods in power systems.. Dr Jalilvand is a member of the institute of electrical and electronics engineers (IEEE).
