Biography

Aaron Sweeney works for the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) in collaboration with the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information (formerly, NGDC). He manages archive, discovery, and access to water level (coastal tide gauge and deep-ocean bottom pressure recorder) data and products, in support of the NOAA Tsunami Program. He coordinates with data providers and works to address the needs of the science community.
