Biography

Hello, my name is Roshini Kalagara and I am originally from Phoenix, Arizona and went to college at Brown University. Currently, I am fourth year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine, apply for residency in Internal Medicine in the current 2024-2025 ERAS cycle..

My clinical research focuses on outcomes after spine surgery and sports-related concussion/traumatic brain injury (with Dr. Tanvir Choudhri) and the management of intracerebral hemorrhage (with Dr. Christopher Kellner), with work relating to stroke detection, surgical treatment, and rehabilitation. At Sinai BioDesign, I am leading a project to develop a novel medical device for the treatment of neurodegenerative disease.
