Biography

Morteza Zare Oskouei was born in Osku, Iran, in 1991. He received his MSc degree in electrical engineering from Sahand University of Technology, Tabriz, Iran, in 2015. After that, he joined the University of Tabriz, where he obtained his Ph.D. degree in electrical power engineering in 2021 (all with honors). He has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Qatar University, Doha, Qatar, from October 2021 to September 2022. He has also won the prestigious TÜBİTAK and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions scholarship in September 2022. His main areas of interest are renewable-dominated integrated energy systems, power systems, machine learning, demand response programs, virtual energy storage systems, energy hubs, and energy markets. He has strong professional skills in GAMS software and DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
