Biography

Dr. Zhu is a Research Assistant Professor in State Key Laboratory of Environmental and Biological Analysis, HKBU. An expert in proteomics and post-translational modifications, Dr. Zhu excels in mass spectrometry and its applications, integrating multi-omics and bioinformatics to identify key signaling nodes and molecular targets. Focused on molecular toxicology of environmental pollutants and the molecular mechanisms of virus-host interactions, Dr. Zhu has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers with an H-index of 19. His work is recognized in leading journals including Gut, MCP, ES&T, CCS Chem., The Innovation, etc., including three “SCI Highly Cited” papers. Currently, he serves as youth editor of the Journal of Instrumental Analysis. Honored with the top CAIA award in 2020 and a patent gold medal at the 25th National Invention Exhibition in 2021.
