Biography

Graduated in Biological Sciences Degree at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), Três Lagoas Campus. Specialist in Toxicology at the Hermínio Ometto Foundation (FHO)-Uniararas. Master and Doctor in Biological Sciences (Cell and Molecular Biology) from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Rio Claro Campus; PhD with internship abroad, University of Coimbra (UC)- Portugal/Laboratory of Soil Ecology and Ecotoxicology. Worked as Quality Assurance Inspector at Laboratórios ASR Ltda. He worked as a Responsible Researcher (Study Director, according to the name of Good Laboratory Practice - GLP) for the studies of Ames (OECD, 471) and Micronucleus "in vivo" (OECD, 474) of the Genotoxicity Laboratory (8 months) and by the acute toxicity tests with earthworms (OECD, 207), carbon transformation (OECD, 217) and nitrogen transformation (OECD, 216) of the Ecotoxicology Laboratory (3 months), at Laboratórios ASR Ltda. He is currently an Adjunct Professor (interim) at the University of the State of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT), Faculty of Agrarian, Biological, Engineering and Health Sciences (FACABES), University Campus Professor Eugênio Carlos Stieler de Tangará da Serra. He has expertise in the areas of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Mutagenesis, with emphasis on the use of superior plants Allium cepa, Lactuca sativa and Tradescantia spp and diplopod soil invertebrates, earthworms, springtails and enchytraeids as bioindicators.
