Personal information

Biography

My research background is in Natural Products Chemistry from both marine (macro & microorganisms) and terrestrial sources. My research interests focus on the isolation and structure elucidation of novel organic metabolites with diverse chemical structures and potential cytotoxic, antiviral, antimicrobial or antifungal properties. The overall goal of my research is to identify biologically active molecules that can act as templates for the development of new therapeutic agents for the treatment of diseases.
