Ricardo Hernández Mogollón

Biography

He teaches the subjects Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and Research Methodology.
At the University of Extremadura he has carried out various management activities, including Vice-Rector of Coordination and Institutional and International Relations, in the 1995-1999 term.
His research areas are: Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management and Knowledge Management. Currently, he focuses his research efforts on the Entrepreneurial Education line.
• Directed the Economy, Business and Future program at the Xavier de Salas Foundation from 1999 to the present.
• Member of the Executive Board of WACRA (World Association on Case Method Research and Application) and director of Entrepreneurship.
• AEDEM numerary academic (European Academy of Management and Business Economics).
• He has directed 14 doctoral theses (half of them with Extraordinary Doctorate Award), 8 teaching innovation projects funded in competitive competition and 16 research projects in Spain, Portugal and Mexico, in European, Spanish and Extremadura calls.
• He has published, in 10 countries, 16 books and more than 150 research articles, especially on issues of Entrepreneurship.
• He has participated in 150 international conferences in 21 countries, national and regional, most of them international.
• He is a consultant to companies and institutions, mainly pro-bono..

• Corresponding member of the Royal Spanish Academy of Economic and Financial Sciences of the Institute of Spain, Electo for Extremadura (Dec 2016-).
• Representative of Spain in the annual meetings of the GEM consortium as the Executive Director of the GEM Spain project (2011-2014) and the Coordinator of the Spanish GEM Network (2004-2011). Director of GEM Extremadura (2002-).
• Member of the Spanish team of the GUESSS proyect.
