Biography
Currently, substitute professor working in Basic, Technical and Technological Education (EBTT) at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology Farroupilha (IFFar), Alegrete Campus - Rio Grande do Sul (RS). PhD in Sciences and Master in Chemistry, both with emphasis on Organic Chemistry, from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Santa Maria - RS, with Thesis and Dissertation in the fields of Synthesis of Molecular Machines and Crystal Engineering, focusing on Molecular Machine interactions in solution and crystalline solid state. He graduated from the Chemistry Teaching Course at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), with a sandwich period at Rider University (New Jersey - United States of America (USA)) through the Science Without Borders Program; and, got a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from UFSM. He received a scholarship from the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarships (PIBID), developing research in Methodology, Teaching and Teacher Training in Chemistry Teaching. He also has experience in the area of Computational Chemistry, where he participated in two research projects in this field, one at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) through the Institutional Program for Scientific Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC) and another at Loyola Marymount University (California - USA). In 2020, he was awarded a scholarship by the CAPES/PrInt - Institutional Internationalization Program from UFSM, to carry out a training course abroad, where he developed a project in the area of Crystal Engineering at the University of Bonn - Germany. Furthermore, he has been a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS) since 2019 and member of the Brazilian Chemical Society (SBQ) since 2023.
