Biography

Antar Shaddad Hamed Abdul-Qawy received the B.Tech degree (with the first rank) in computer engineering from Hodeidah University, Yemen, in 2005, the Master of Technology degree (first class with distinction) in computer science from the University of Hyderabad, India, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics and communication engineering (Internet of Things) from Kakatiya University, India, in 2019. He is currently a Senior Lecturer of information technology with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, and Dean of Faculty of Science, SUMAIT University, Zanzibar, Tanzania, having previously worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Hodeidah University, from 2005 to 2012. His research interests include the Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks, sensor cloud, the green IoT, and energy-efficient networks
